Ben Hunter joined the team in 2010 as a founding member of The Focus Group. Ben leads business development for the agency and serves as the strategic leader at the agency for financial, business-to-business and economic development accounts including Mississippi Hospitality and Restaurant Association, The Port of Gulfport, The Gulfport–Biloxi International Airport, Mississippi Power, Coast Electric and many more.

Born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Ben studied marketing at The University of Southern Mississippi while working in the restaurant business to pay his way through school. It was in the hospitality industry that Ben learned the importance of customer service. These skills lead to a career in sales, and eventually a place on the Mississippi Gulf Coast working with WLOX-TV. In 2009, he joined Sun Herald Multimedia where he worked in marketing for the Sun Herald and BeachBlvd magazine.

Since moving to the Coast, Ben has become very involved with local non-profits and community organizations. Ben is an active member and supporter of Coast Young Professionals, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Advertising Federation, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce, the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the board of directors and as president of the Humane Society of South Mississippi in 2014 and 2015. He has also served on the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce board of directors since 2011, and was board president in 2015.

The creative strategy was to remind customers and prospects of The Peoples Bank’s dedication to their communities and the hands-on, outstanding customer service they provide. The campaign theme “It’s Always More Than Banking” was developed to clearly communicate their local commitment and services.

Comvest Reality: White Pillars

Once a plantation home that was later used as a destination restaurant on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the White Pillars property has undergone a major restoration project in order to restore its historic glory. Comvest Properties, Inc. sought to establish a marketing campaign to help drive interest in the property and deliver qualified leads for sale or lease of the restaurant property.
