Chelsea Gee joins The Focus Group

Please join us as we welcome our newest team member, Chelsea Gee, as Marketing Analyst!

A native of Mobile, with a B.A. in Strategic Communications from the University of South Alabama, Chelsea joins our team with a diverse background of experience within the marketing and advertising realm, including the non-profit, agency and casino industry. Gee has worked as the Advertising Coordinator for the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort for the past two years, serving as the primary touchpoint for its advertising needs. Before Scarlet Pearl, Gee worked as the Communications Specialist for Ad.In Advertising where she helped clients such as Chevron’s Pascagoula Refinery, Navigator Credit Union and the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.

In her new role with The Focus Group, Chelsea provides essential research, analysis, strategic planning, event planning, program development and creative communications for our wide variety of clients. She studies analytics and trends to help our clients refine their marketing programs and get the best ROI from their campaigns.

In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys discovering and supporting local Mississippi businesses. She is always searching for delicious new restaurants to try and local cheeses and jellies to add to her ‘crowd favorite charcuterie board.’

Team Focus:  How did you hear about The Focus Group? What made you want to join our team?

Chelsea: I’ve heard about The Focus Group (even while living in Mobile) but really became interested after attending the AAF’s Addy Awards and seeing their award-winning campaigns.

Team Focus:  How has your experience been since you started?

Chelsea:  It’s been great! I immediately hit the ground running, and in a short time I’ve already been involved with a variety of clients, projects and campaigns. I am using my research, data, and strategic-thinking skills to help provide results for our client’s marketing and advertising needs.

Team Focus:  What are you looking forward to most with TFG?

Chelsea:  I am looking forward to growing and expanding my skillset at The Focus Group and, ultimately, helping make a difference for our clients. I truly believe marketing is more than a product or a service provided; it’s all about solving problems, making good businesses better and ultimately getting maximum return on investment for our clients’ marketing dollars. Whether the difference is as tangible as insightful data from a Google Analytics website report, or as intangible as an emotionally-driven new creative campaign that touches your audiences’ hearts – my goal is to help our clients exceed their own goals.

Welcome to the team, Chelsea!
