Cattle Manager (we are assisting in this search on behalf of our client)

Job Description:
Our client seeks a dedicated and experienced Cattle Manager to oversee daily operations and herd management. The full-time job is on-site at a South Mississippi location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in herd management, livestock care, pasture management and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily care and management of the cattle herd.
• Monitor pasture conditions and manage grazing rotations to optimize forage and pasture health.
• Maintain ranch infrastructure, including fencing, water sources, and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in cattle or livestock management.
• Knowledge of animal husbandry, including breeding and nutrition.
• Ability to operate farm machinery and perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of pasture and forage management.
