Experience
Amy is the colorful and multi-talented Senior Graphic Designer behind several of the clients at The Focus Group and their varied marketing campaigns. Boasting an impressive client portfolio, including Whole Foods Market and Bath & Body Works, Amy successfully achieves client goals and objectives through imaginative thinking and collaboration to transform client ideas and concepts into captivating campaigns. Her passion, dedication and solution-oriented approach make her an invaluable asset to The Focus Group’s creative team, and her work reflects the spirit of her unique style while also achieving exceptional results for our clients.
Amy’s prolific career began in New Orleans as a Graphic Artist for Whole Foods Market in 2010. This valuable experience prepared her to later take on another large brand, Bath & Body Works in Columbus, Ohio, as their Lead Floorset Designer. During that time, she developed dynamic floor layouts through 2D and 3D marketing for national store rollout, along with launch campaign collateral via direct mail and social media strategy. In 2018, Amy returned home to the Gulf Coast as a leading member of the creative team at the Christie Fountain Advertising agency, where she developed and oversaw a variety of cross-platform campaigns from ideation to completion for clients including Singing River Hospital System, Blossman Gas, Chevron and Hancock Whitney Bank.
In addition to being a creative visionary, Amy is proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom and Adobe Creative Suite. She is skilled at hand lettering, illustration, and typography, all adding a valuable layer of originality and panache to her projects. It’s this variety of techniques that Amy uses to elevate the brands and marketing materials of every client at The Focus Group.
When Amy isn’t busy breathing life into her clients’ projects, she enjoys giving back to worthy charitable causes, including the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum where she previously served on their Board of Directors, the Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi, Let’s Go Gulf Coast and the Pink Hearts Fund. She also enjoys drawing on things she does not own, laying in sunshine, working in watercolors, illustration and bookbinding! Inspired by nature and organic objects, Amy has a penchant for combining life and movement with traditional print and digital media.
