The Focus Group has deep roots in Hattiesburg so we were excited to partner with the Hattiesburg Area Development Partnership (ADP) to create a new website for them that make their site more user friendly and mobile ready. The main goals were to:

2. Highlight Chamber of Commerce activities
3. Share more information about area’s Economic Development

The insurance industry is an incredibly competitive SEO realm for websites. The challenge Billy Hewes Insurance faced was not having a locally owned website where the team at Billy Hewes Insurance could control their own native content. This was solved by creating a scalable website with pages featuring main services, contact information and a staff page featuring all team at Billy Hewes Insurance. Building the site in WordPress will make it easy to add more pages as we start to match search patterns with new content. Utilizing Google Analytics and the Google Search Console will provide the KPIs needed to make future adjustments to get this new site to the front page of search results.

Bicentennial South

We are proud to join the State of Mississippi’s 200th anniversary celebration with a 2-day festival highlighting South Mississippi’s history, culture and advancements over the last 200 years.

Centennial Plaza in Gulfport, the magnificent oak tree-lined beachfront site, will serve as South Mississippi’s Bicentennial Celebration headquarters. The event will feature two days of exciting activities to include the following, and beginning with a history-making opening ceremony on Friday, March 31, 2017.

Everyone loves a party, and The Focus Group was asked to make a site featuring one of the biggest parties in Mississippi’s 200 year history, the Mississippi Bicentennial Celebration – South.

This needed to be a functional mobile-ready site that could allow vendors to submit and pay for their spaces at the event, print a calendar of events – and importantly, allow site visitors to get free tickets to see The Band Perry close out the party with the Governor’s Concert on April 1st.
