Jacob is a marketing problem-solver and professional with experience in various creative areas from photography, writing, and strategic communications and planning. Most importantly, he is passionate about helping our clients bring their brands and visions to life.
Before joining The Focus Group, Jacob served as the Managing Editor at The Daily Mississippian Newspaper in Oxford, Mississippi, during his final year at the University of Mississippi. In this role, Jacob wrote a variety of news stories while overseeing multiple other writers, started up the news outlet’s first-ever podcast, and prepared the paper for weekly printing. In his senior year “Campaigns” class, Jacob and his team competed in the National Student Advertising Competition – where they developed and presented a rebranding campaign for Meta (previously Facebook) and its long-awaited virtual reality headset.
Since joining the team, Jacob has used his multi-dimensional skills in research, communications and writing, creative design, and social media management to increase our clients’ digital footprint and take their content to the next level.
